The Circus

All though we didn't stay for the whole circus (right in the middle of nap time). Abigail enjoyed seeing all the animals.

It has been a while since I posted, so I thought I would share some pictures of Mike and I out on the town for New Year's Eve. We went out with some friends of ours, Brad and Jenni. We had a lot of fun. Jenni and I had tooooo many shots. The third and last one is what did us in.

Merry Christmas

The Cashwell Family had a great Christmas. We went to Marianna, FL to spend the holidays with Heather's family. Although we would have liked Abigail to be more into the whole present thing, she wasn't. The night before we left to come home, Heather was experiencing a stomach bug. Abigail has it now and is having a hard time shaking it off. Let's hope she is better so that we don't have to spend New Year's Eve at the hospital getting IV fluids. The Sunday we came home, we had Christmas with Mike's mom. Abigail got her rocking horse and kitchen from Santa. *Santa knew they would be too hard to bring back from Florida* Mike was able to see the bikes I bought for us, in fact that was one of the first things he looked at when we got home. Abigail was not able to experience the complete thrill of all her presents she got in Savannah, but she will soon.

Christmas Cookies

Wow! I had such good intentions of updating this every week! We can see that has not happened. I guess we will just blame it on the busy holiday season. Abigail is teething with her bottom 2 year molars. Let's just say that is one fun time!!!! Last Saturday Abigail, Betty, and I had an all day baking session. We didn't walk away with what looked like we baked all day, but we did. We enlisted Abigail's help with the food processor and putting the sprinkles on the cookies.

Christmas Pictures in Forsyth Park

On November 22nd, we met Stacy Martinez in Forsyth Park for our Christmas pictures. It was coooooold. We arrived at 10 am and the temperature was in the upper 30's. Abigail had to wear her jacket most of the time to keep her from shivering. After the photo shoot, Betty, Abigail, and Heather went to Christmas Made in the South. There we made a big purchase, a hand-made wooden rocking horse. Abigail was so happy on the horse that we couldn't leave without one. Unfortunately, she can't use it til' Christmas. I will post pictures of that at the end of the month.

The Christmas Tree

We finally got the Christmas tree up and decorated today. Abigail was so good at helping. She followed us around the tree hanging onto the string of lights while we weaved them in and out of the branches. She was so excited to get the ornaments onand sometimes off of the tree. Let's hope she doesn't get a wild hair to take them all off.

Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!! We went over to Betty's house for a non-traditional meal. We had shrimp wontons, coconut shrimp, and bacon wrapped scallops. We enjoyed good wine and good company. Abigail had fun playing in the yard and on the piano.
